If The Rain Must Fall (James Morrison)

Anyone can tell you that “Dreams can come true”.
There’s no hardship in he utterance of these words. The promise of a possibility is weightless. It’s one single lukewarm droplet of water in the great Sahara.
It’s nothing.

Gratitude, worded at a moment of overwhelming content, is however, not temporary. It won’t evaporate into nothingness. Once it’s heard, a sentence, especially a promise, is chronic.
“Thank you”s, when meant, are strong.
Smiles, when sincere, are stronger.
Gratitude is forever.

“Oh, well, dreams can come true
If you know inside you really want them to”
